FAQs About NCCAR

We have compiled a list of FAQs below about NCCAR, the facility, events, and offerings.  Feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have.

That depends on your planned activities. All vehicle testing is subject to NCCAR safety rules and may be subject to insurance requirements. Please get in touch to discuss your plans.

Normal open hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am until 5:00pm. Weekends are available for exclusive rentals – get in touch to find out more.

That depends on what you want to use. The track is available for $300 per hour per vehicle during normal business hours. Weekend exclusive rates are $8,750 per day. Corner workers are an additional cost. Weekday exclusive rates are $4,700 per day plus Corner workers, etc.

NCCAR is quite new and our access road (and hence street address) has only recently been completed. You can see NCCAR on Google Maps and Google Earth, but many car GPS system do not have our street address. The best solution is to enter the adjacent Lowes Regional Distribution Depot address and turn left into Technology Drive before you end up in their parking lot: 620 Lowe’s Blvd Road Garysburg, NC 27831.

Certainly, just provided you are responsible for them and ensure pets are on a leash. Helmets are required for anyone under the age of 18 riding bicycles or pit bikes.

Oh yes! Food is by request. On-site catering is available upon request.

Only one junction south on I95 (3 miles) is Roanoke Rapids with 60 restaurants, 1,200 hotel rooms and all the stores you might need for repairs etc. Contact the Halifax County Visitor Center for more advice here.

No, but the nearest gas station (Shell) is only 1.5 miles from NCCAR. There is a Blue Flame Station 3 miles west of the track that carries non ethanol 93 octane.

Yes, we have a radio-based system with speakers around the paddock and the operations building.

Yes, we have a pool of corner workers available and local emergency and fire crews available at set rates.

Yes, we have a standard NCCAR waivers and a minors waiver. All participants and visitors for events must sign the waiver form and receive a wristband (to show the waiver form has been signed).
