Dr. Fred Gallasche

Dr. Gallasch began his career teaching at Davidson County Community College in Lexington, NC, and at North Carolina State University. He then moved to General Motors in Michigan to work in societal and marketing R&D, and eventually to product development and brand management for Corvette.

Later, he did business development for GM’s accessories business and applied “lean” principles to reduce costs in sales and marketing. He created Gallasch Consulting Services LLC to assist companies with product development, branding, marketing, and program management. Additionally, he often speaks and authors articles on marketing, brand management, personal branding, and the Corvette. He was active in the creation of NCCAR.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia and Master’s and PhD degrees from North Carolina State University. He has been active in his local village serving 20 years as Village Trustee and 4 years as Village President. He is a member of the Pinnacle Society of the American Diabetes Association and is a founding and life member of the National Corvette Museum. In 2010, he was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the National Corvette Museum.
