Welcome to the fourth edition of the NCCAR CarTech newsletter (click here for current issue). After a great start in 2010 we now moving onto implementing features and systems that will have broad appeal to industry, educational establishments and motor-sports users. Interviews include two key participants in the development and expansion of NCCAR: Shep Pitts of NC State University and NCCAR board member / Northampton County Manager Wayne Jenkins.

Here at NCCAR, we are delighted to be starting 2011 on such a promising note. Many enhancements are still being implemented.  New features such as timing loop, surface wetting, off-road trails, GPS base station and controlled site access are all in progress.
