Prior to his appointment as County Manager, Mr. Jenkins served as Northampton County’s Public Works Director where, under his leadership and management, Northampton County built a rural county-wide public water system which was one of the first built in the State of North Carolina. |
Mr. Jenkins currently serves as the Northampton County Manager and has served in that capacity since 2000. The veteran county administrator has twenty-six years of administration experience all of which have been with Northampton County Local Government. Mr. Jenkins studied at the University of North Carolina’s School of Government and is a graduate of the County Administration Program.
